We are seeking a Linux skilled DevOps Engineer to assist our current Cloud support administrators and to perform advanced tasks related to our expansion.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with strong work habits and have significant career experience in maintaining large numbers of Linux servers. This experience must have included rolling out new systems, maintaining, upgrading, replacing, and improving the long-term performance of systems.

Key duties will be to perform as a senior member of the Cloud team to support the installation, optimization, integration, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, modification, security, and upgrading of IT systems and components to provide services that enable customers to effectively apply IT to business requirements.

The successful candidate must be able to work with other senior staff to recommend and design systems architecture and topology.


Minimum requirements

  • BSc Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent 5 years of work experience
  • 5 years’ experience with Linux and Web Hosting platforms
  • Redhat RHCE certification
  • LPIC 2 or higher
  • Proficient Python/Perl proficiency
  • VMware certified professional working experience required
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent
  • Significant experience with SAN storage, Virtualisation and Orchestration technologies
  • Significant experience with VMware , vSphere, vCloud Director, NetApp, Solidfire and Veeam
  • Strong understanding of network and server security.


  • Proactive infrastructure, platform and system monitoring, maintenance and management
  • Troubleshooting and resolving support issues on our Cloud and for customer systems
  • Research, design and testing of potential new Cloud technologies
  • Installation, configuration and integration of our Cloud products
  • Managing and provisioning our Cloud infrastructure products
  • Working directly with major clients in support of their RSAWEB supported cloud infrastructure
